The NRL is excited to announce the NRL22 National Championships presented by Bushnell and Bergara USA in Mount Pleasant, TN. Tennessee is a terrific location to host this seasons championship as the community is rich in culture and entertainment, while the Eagle Eye Shooting Complex provides an outstanding venue to host up to 190 competitors with a diverse course of fire.
Where: Eagle Eye Shooting Complex in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee
When: August 21-23rd, 2020.
How to qualify: Eagle Eye Shooting Complex under Match Director Michael Millikan will be able to host 190 of the best NRL22 competitors in the country. Interest surveys have gone out to your local MD’s to gauge how many competitors are interested from each club. If we have over 190 interested then each club will be awarded a percentage of match slots according to its membership numbers and monthly participation in comparison with the rest of the nations clubs. Local MD’s should utilize invites for the shooters who have the highest scores in that club (limited to the top 3 scores for the season’s local matches).
Event details: Each participant will get an official 19/20 NRL22 Championship Match T-shirt, other swag, 2 lunches, and 1 dinner at the awards ceremony. The course of fire will be at least 200 rounds fired. Skills learned in the 19/20 season will be utilized through out the COF, but we will not be limited to 100 yards. Expect engagements to be from 25 yards to 368 yards with plenty of engagements between 100 and 200 yards. Magazine changes may be required, but the same good old fashion fun will present with the stages being just as cleanable. We will have targets down range for most every distance that we intend to shoot during the match on Friday for sight in.
Trophies / Prize table: Trophies will be distributed for the top shooters in all five classes. The prize table will we walked in order of finish for each class. Each class will walk according to its attendance. As an example; if we have 90 Open class shooters, 35 Young Guns class shooters, 30 Ladies class shooters, 25 Base class shooters, and 10 Air Rifle shooters, then the order will be 1st place for each class in the order of Open, then Young Guns, then Ladies, the Base, and finally Air Rifle class. Then 2nd place and so on.
Cost: $225 for Open, Base and Ladies. $150 for Young Guns.
