Nampa Rod and Gun Club
Nampa Rod & Gun Club was established in 1937 to operate the outdoor facility located on 7990 Bennet Rd, Canyon County Idaho. The land was given to the gun club by Executive Order of President Roosevelt. The area that is the current range was a military training facility as far back as the early 1900’s and was used as an impact area for the Artillery Corp.
Today the club boasts 550 members with a waiting list to join. We support several shooting disciplines to include; USPSA, IDPA, Bullseye, Steel Silhouette, Steel challenge and several high-power rifle programs. We also host many certified instructors led training programs for rifle, pistol and hunter’s education.
The outdoor facility has 11 rifle and pistol pits, an NRA Steel Silhouette range and a rifle range with fixed berms out to 660 yards. Our indoor range located at 222 W Railroad St Nampa ID, has 20 shooting lanes out to 50 ft.
The NRGC Membership is currently capped at 550 members and we maintain a standing waiting list for new shooters wanting to join. You do not need to be a member to shoot at sanctioned events such as Steel Challenge or USPSA matches etc. For additional information contact our membership director, Phil Sauter at firstname.lastname@example.org.
