The Match:

Get ready to compete at the NRL22X match in Yemassee, South Carolina with seasoned match director, Dallas Sharp!

We are excited to have the opportunity to bring the NRL22X to South Carolina for the 2020-2021 season. This will be a 1 day match that will consist of 12 stages and approximately 150 rounds of ammunition. Be sure round count includes ZERO CHECK and extra rounds for tokens. An extra magazine will be necessary as up to 15 or 20 rounds are in a single stage. Stages may require a varied array of dynamic shooting positions at targets which could range from 25-500 yards. Long range precision 22 Long Rifle at up to 500 yards is fun and we are working on reaching 600 yards next year. ROs will be utilized to ensure everyone can participate and COF is consistent. Lunch and a shirt are included for all competitors, helpers, spotter-score keepers and ROs who are asked to register for shirt size. No walk-on shooters, only paid per-registered shooters. Registration will be non-refundable, however they are transferable, must email to confirm change; however, shirt in your size, if different than original person, order is date dependent. Once match payments are received shooters will be approved for squadding.
Recommend you bring individual drinks and snacks as nothing is available on property.

IMPORTANT:

Please read the NRL22X Rules prior to the match.
When you arrive, please go to Check-in prior to unloading your gear from your vehicle. Ensure that your firearm “empty chamber flag” is in place. The range is COLD until after safety briefing is complete with instructions. Range rules DO NOT allow anyone, including club members, to shoot before 0900 or after 1800.

On match day, at Check-in 0800 to 0845 all paid persons will each get one ticket: competitors, helpers, spotter-score keepers, and ROs, registered will participate in Prize Table drawings. If you have not already completed one or the online waiver, you will have to complete one at Check-in.
Prize Table items (currently valued over $10,000 & including at least one gun) are claimed by your ticket, being drawn randomly. Top Gun and 1st place class competitors will get a trophy, plus 3 extra tickets for the Prize Table. Trophy for Top Gun and 1st place Open, Old Guns (66 or over on match day), Lady, & Youth will be awarded regardless of number of shooters in category (Old Guns is not a Class in NRL22X, but will be recognized as mentioned, and NRL22X points will be provided as either Open or Ladies). Open category shooter will receive 2nd with 2 tickets and 3rd place with one extra ticket. Other categories will require 4 competitors for 2nd and 6 for 3rd place, and extra tickets added accordingly.

Here are some fun twists.
We will set up 6 stages initially. During lunch break setup final 6 stages.
Mulligan and Coach tokens will be available and paid for during pre-match registration, when chosen by shooter. Mulligan and or Coach tokens will be available on match day before start at jacked up prices, purchased using cash exact change only, and not available after stage brief 1st shot-match commences.

Mulligan must be purchased ahead of time. Cost $25 (during registration) Only one Mulligan can be used for the entire match. [If you do not pre-purchase, then a Mulligan at match before 1st round down range, it will cost you $35 CASH!]
When you use a Mulligan, the new score is your official score, for better or worse it is your score, as original is discarded. Your score is asterisked in case of a match total score tie between an asterisk and non-asterisk, the non-asterisk wins.
Mulligan cannot be used in the “Tie-breaker” or “Do you measure up?”

Coach token (Spotter coach/ Sighter) {Could be called a “wind read” shot} must be purchased ahead of time.
One token one coached shot, maximum 2 tokens per match.
1 Coach token/shot $15 (only during online pre-registration)
2 A pair of coached tokens/shots purchased at same time $25. (only during online pre-registration)
At the match, before 1st round down range, tokens will cost you $25 each – 2 for $50 CASH ONLY]
Tokens cannot be shared (<**note youth may receive coaching without token> **youth coaching MUST NOT divulge unknown target ranges in the “Do you measure up?” stage.**)
Coached shot, hit or not , does not count in stage scoring, it is like a sighter. For example: stage round count 10 with 2 Coach tokens used 12 rounds fired only the 10 stage rounds are scored.
Coach token cannot be used in the “Tie-breaker” or “Do you measure up?”
