The Match:

Get ready to show off your sharp shooting rimfire skills in one of the last NRL22X matches before nationals in May. Ben Lomond Gun Club is located in the eastern plains of colorful Colorado.

The match will consist of 10 stages of fire consisting of distances from 25 yards out to 500+ yards. You will need 120-140 rounds to complete the match. Bring extra for sight-in. An extra magazine will be needed for magazine changes during some stages.

Get your “stretch” on, as stages will challenge your limberness (or lack of), sense of balance and position building skills. There will be no restrictions on gear, except that all gear used on the stage must be in hand at the start of the stage.

The NRL22X offers an impressive Prize Table. Plus, Trophies will be awarded to the following: Overall 1st – 3rd, Top Young Gun, and Top Lady! The prize table will be walked in order of finish with Overall 1st, Top Lady, and Top Young Gun walking first.

There is RV and tent camping available at the range. There are 15 RV sites with electric hookups only. Cost is $10/night. Tent camping is free. Showers and bathrooms are available.

Ben Lomond Gun Club is 35-45 miles from the nearest town/city with lodging, dining and retail. Denver International Airport is 80 miles away.

Weather in the middle of April averages around 60degrees during the day and 30’s at night. One thing you can always count on is wind on the plains. Knowing your wind calls would be highly recommended.
