Get ready to spread some freedom seeds at the Ben Lomond Gun Club, located in the eastern plains of colorful Colorado.

The match will consist of 10 stages of fire consisting of distances from 25 yards out to 400 yards. You will need 120-150 rounds to complete the match. Bring extra for sight-in. An extra magazine will be needed for magazine changes during some stages.

Stages will challenge your limberness (or lack of), sense of balance and position building skills. There will be no restrictions on gear, except that all gear used on the stage must be in hand at the start of the stage.

Trophies will be presented to Open 1st, 2nd and 3rd places, as well as Top Lady and Top Young Gun. Cash prizes for the top finishers in each category. Random draw to walk the prize table.

Match fee includes:

• T-shirt (Indicate size at registration. Cutoff date is 5/14 to choose sizes. After that will be what’s available)

• BBQ lunch, water, snacks

• Prize Table

Sight-in will be available on Friday, the 24th, from 3pm-6pm and Saturday, the 25th, from 7am-8am at the Cowboy Long Range.

Weather

Weather at the end of June averages in the mid-80’s during the day and 50’s at night. One thing you can always count on is fast moving air on the plains. Knowing your wind calls would be highly recommended.

Travel

There is RV and tent camping available at the range. First-come, First-serve There are 15 RV sites with electric hookups only. Cost is $10/night. Tent camping is free. Showers and bathrooms are available.

Ben Lomond Gun Club is 35-45 miles from the nearest town/city with lodging, dining and retail. Denver International Airport is 80 miles away.
