Welcome to the Polar Vortex registration page. Here are a few points related to the match. This match will test your precision rifle shooting abilities along with your ability to compete in potentially snowy and cold conditions. Stage design will be dictated to snow depth and weather forecasted conditions.

1. This match is in MN in the WINTER old Mother Nature isn’t always friendly. Be Prepared. Some stages could potentially have deep snow.

2. Targets will be 25-250 yards. Targets will be sized to eliminate luck as a determining factor on a stage score.

3. ROs WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR POINTS & PRIZES AT THIS EVENT. In the process of rewarding and securing quality ROs, they will be offered a complimentary match slot with the opportunity to complete the stages on an RO Shoot Day, for points amongst the other shooters and prize eligibility. Their opportunity at this is set to take place on Friday, March 10th. We are securing ROs in as much advance notice as possible, where the difference in weather forecast between the days is unknown. If you are interested in ROing this event, please email aaricgeihl@me.com with your RO Experience. Anyone may apply, however, space is limited and not guaranteed.

4. Prize Table will be walked from first to last place overall. Trophies will be awarded to division top finishers (1-3). All competitors are expected to receive a prize.

5. Every competitor will receive a match T-shirt.

6. Matchbook will be emailed to competitors and ROs by March 9th, before any shooting begins.

7. Sleds may be used for gear (packs, tripods, etc) only. All rifles must be carried in a safe manner.

8. Squads will be adjusted to approximately even numbers of competitors.

9. There are many hotels in the area within an hour of the range.

10.There will be NO REFUNDS.

11.There will be lunch available in the clubhouse during the match by the Marshall Tigers Shooting Team (free, will accept donations)
