2022 Monster Match

What happens when you combine a monster mash with an X-match? You get a Monster Match! If you love great food, Halloweeny music, fun costumes, side stages for awesome prizes, carving pumpkins with bullets, and most of all, fun, challenging, and fair night matches, then this is the match for you!

Only 80 spots available. This match is expected to fill up so don’t delay if you want to play. If match is full, consider being a Range Officer for many perks listed in the RO section below.

Fee includes: Snacks, Food, Hot Beverages, Water, Shooter Bag, Match Shirt, and a Really Fun Night Match.

No Mulligans at this match.

Round count will be approximately 120 for the match, but bring more for zeroing, dope gathering, side stages, pumpkin carving, and malfunctions, etc.

Target distances will be between 25-230 yds. Dope gathering will be available before the match. See Match Schedule for more information.

Costume Contest This match will include a costume contest. The top 3 winners will walk the prize table with the match winners! (See Walk Order below)

You do not need to shoot the match in your costume. Just wear your costume to check-in and get your photo taken in order to be eligible for the contest.

Pumpkin Carving Contest There will be a pumpkin carving contest taking place during the sight-in hours. Your squad will work together to shoot your squad pumpkin and carve out a face. All of the squad pumpkins will be lit up during the match. The squad with the winning pumpkin will receive a squad prize!

Side Stages There will be several side stages taking place during the sight-in hours. These will be $10 per try. The better you do, the more tickets you win. Your tickets go into drawings for great prizes. You can play as many times as you would like.

Accu-shot One Shot Challenge will be held during the sight-in hours. There is no fee to play. Be sure to arrive in time to get your shot in!

Night Match Format Zeroing and side stages will be held during the daylight hours. The match will take place at night. All of the targets will be illuminated with white lights. Shooters are not allowed to use white lights at any time throughout the match. There will be plenty of ambient light behind the shooting line, and shooters are allowed to use glow sticks or red or green LED lights. Since everything except the targets will be black, an illuminated reticle is highlyrecommended.

Music There will be music playing for the entire match.

Loaner Rifles Available We will have a limited number of loaner rifle setups with illuminated reticles available to borrow on a first-come, first-served basis. Contact us ASAP if you would like to borrow one of our setups for the match.

Range Officer (RO) opportunity We feel strongly that a big key to a high-quality match is to have a solid group of ROs. Good ROs bring consistency to the stages for a fair and fun competition. We are looking for willing ROs to participate. ROs will shoot free on Friday night, will have an opportunity at the prize table and giveaways, and will eat for free. As mentioned, ROs will be given the opportunity to shoot the course of fire on Friday night. This will give them a chance to shoot the match, as well as allow them to become accustomed to their stages. If you are new to precision rifle competitions, ROing this match will be a great opportunity to get experience shooting- with help from match directors, as well as experience spotting bullet impacts through spotting scopes. Food There will be delicious food and beverages available throughout most of the match. The firing line is located close to the Clubhouse, so at any time, feel free to run in and grab a bite to eat and/or a hot cup of Apple Cider!
